First off, I'll be in the States for mid-tour leave in February. By a lovely coincidence, this means I'll be home for my birthday. Would love to see you all. Beer and pizza sounds like a nice simple idea to me.
Secondly, we're moving. Assuming my travel home and back works out right, I won't even be returning here and I'll just rendevouz with our unit at our new home. More details on that to follow.
But, in the meantime, while it's been greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated, let's hold off on the mail. I'll be packing my bags soon (read: at the last minute) and we'll be limited in how much we can take to our new home anyway. Oh, and, yeah, we'll be roughing it when we get there. 2-3 months sans steady electricity, portajohns, and showers is what it's sounding like. And even crappier food (so if you think I wanted mail now, I'll be pretty desperate for it then). Ah, the simple joys of the soldiering life.

Are you really boosting McCain over, well, any Democratic candidate? He's certainly the finest of the Republican crop...but his personal virtue doesn't make for some terrifying policies...
