One Year Later

365 days ago we left Fort Campbell, KY to come to this crazy little place. And now, a full year later, we're finally getting ready to leave.

It's been a pretty crazy year with plenty of ups, downs, and rough patches. I've made some good friends here, I've missed my old friends and home more than words can describe, and I'd like to think I've learned a thing or two along the way (most of which I'll probably work on forgetting as soon as we get back).

And if I had to say how I felt now that we're finally here, counting down the days (although the date is still unknown), I'd settle on one word: tired. Looking forward to a bit of rest. But also looking forward to seeing you all.
