Had my first interview last night with LTC Lillibridge, the Battalion Commander. Had no idea the guy was from Rhode Island.
Went pretty well, I though. Kept it relatively short and basic. Figured we'd possibly go for another one or even two later. Just intro stuff for now about him, the area, Iraq now and before the Surge and the Awakening, etc. He's a smart guy and I hope that definitely comes across.
Hopefully we'll have it up and posted and the new blog up and humming along soon. In the meantime, I'm scheduled to interview Captain Shultz on the 25th and I'm going to start lining up Sergeants and Joes as well.
In other news, we've got triple digit heat later this week, I'm finally healthy enough to start running again, and I'm back on track with losing weight. And Peng sent me BSG. w00t!
