I'm not sure exactly when it happened but at some point it did - we're officially over the hump and now counting down the weeks left until we're home. Sure, there's not an exact and official day yet but it is indeed down to mere weeks. One latest rumor I heard is approximately 100 days. Not too shabby. And from everything I've seen, we will definitely be home within a month of Election Day. If not a little sooner.
So start planning those welcome home parties, folks. I can't wait see y'all.

Hurry the hell up - summer movies aren't the same without Alex. Perhaps we'll do a winter picnic in the park when you're back. Not sure how it'll work, but it will involve hot chocolate, some baileys, and lots of blankets
