Georgia On My Mind

Summer 2001 was a good time for me. Life was good, school was great, the future had yet to disappoint, and there I was spending a summer in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Georgia's a beautiful place. The food is excellent, the wine great, and the people are some of the friendliest and most open I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

So my heart goes out to all of Georgia at this time. I actually spent a good two hours trying to look up old email addresses. Pity that was all before gmail. Fucking stupid old and outdated email addresses.

But, yeah, Georgia. When this all dies down - go visit. I was actually thinking of spending some serious expat time there (you know, assuming I needed some). But I guess if this keeps up, I can always hook up with the resistance (what? Russians are like Cylons, right?)
