Yeah, I know I'm a little late. Getting to this computer isn't always easy. But a thousand thank yous for reading these, for your support, for being such good friends. And here are a few pictures to boot. The helicoppters are from our field trip the other day. The man relaxing on the tractor is our First Sergeant. And the smiling fellow suited up next to him is Lt Swanson of Minnesota. And those turkeys - yeah, they got 4 of them. 1 was released back to the Iraqis, 2 were kept on post to breed, and 1 was executed on Thanksgiving Day (yeah, these folks are odd). Turkeys it turns out, do indeed run around (and flap) when their heads are cut off. I'll spare you the photos.

Anyhoo, life continues to go well. Mostly. Our area is quiet. We've never really been shot at, nothing has gone boom, but we've got a ways to work with locals.
Miss you,
B6R

I think my favorite part of this post is the sign above the turkeys. Truly in the Thanksgiving spirit. Love you B6R.
Papa Echo November Golf here:
Glad to know your turkey day was fun and uneventful. Still trying to get you TV shows here; I have a visceral hatred of DRM technology so I'm trying to bootleg you some Firefly/Serenity for your iPod. If everyone and their uncles haven't gotten you BSG yet by Christmas, let me know and I'll try to hack those for you as well.
Yours,
-Peng
Glad to hear nothings going boom! Let's keep it that way!
Maybe I missed this but what is B6R... maybe sacksy can explain to me...
keep the entries coming!
I think I've got the BSG fully covered (all bootlegged). Hopefully the format I'm sending will work for him...
Miss you Munoz!!

Little Bro, I forgot to mention the other day. Our grandma, the one that just passed, she used to raise turkeys when she lived on the farm with mom. Well, she tried to raise turkeys. It turns out that they are very ornery birds and it takes a very patient and persistent person to get them to breed. Grandma was never known to have that muich patience. She went back to rabbits apparently.
You guys are turkey breeder now? The whole protecting the country thing wasn't keeping you busy, you're turning farmer?
I can't wait to see you in overalls
Shameless plug for my state: Good to see you're meeting some more Minnesotans:)
